Apple and Pear Australia Limited (APAL) has announced the appointment of two new board members. Giuseppe ‘Joe’ Ceravolo of Ceravolo Orchards joined the peak industry body as South Australian director on 26 May, while Paul Good of Newtons Brothers Orchards will become APAL’s director for Western Australia on 25 June.
Ceravolo and Good have replaced Mark Joyce and Scott Montague on the lboard after the latter pair announced their resignations in May.
APAL has also announced that its current North Melbourne office building sold at auction recently. Staff will move to a new headquarters in East Melbourne during July, with the revenue from thesale to be invested into services for growers.
