Vietnam will soon be the 18th country to house 7-Eleven convenience stores as the global retailer plans to open 1,000 stores in the South East Asian nation over ten years.
Japanese retail group Seven & I Holdings, which operates 7-Eleven stores in Japan, has signed a licensing agreement with Seven System Vietnam, which will operate Vietnam’s 7-Eleven stores.
The 1,000 new stores over the next decade will add to the US-headquartered operates 56,400 stores worldwide to date.
