The group says its temperature sensing helps customers monitor high-value shipments within 15 metres of positioning accuracy
Copeland has announced the release of its new Go real-time 4G/5G-NA tracker for shipping products within the cold chain.
According to the company, the next-generation alkaline product leverages Wi-Fi and 4G/5G cellular technology to deliver real-time data for customers.
Go real-time 4G/5G-NA trackers can monitor in-transit conditions such as temperature within 15 metres (49.2 feet) of positioning accuracy for up to 20 days,” Copeland outlined.
“Improvements to location accuracy drive enhanced insight to shipments,” said Amy Childress, global vice-president of monitoring, cold chain, for Copeland. “Whether customers are transporting food, healthcare items or other valuable cargo, our technology enables our customers’ shipments to be delivered at the highest possible quality.”
Copeland said that Oversight, its cloud-based online software platform, enabled trackers to be configured to notify users in real-time via text or email if any deviation of temperature-sensitive conditions arose during shipment.
Automated reporting is generated through the Oversight dashboard and Oversight mobile app, from where users can receive real-time alerts via text and email.
Users can view current maps, graphs and charts of key shipments, including temperature, security and location details, the company noted.
