Zum ersten Mal überhaupt hat Ägypten binnen eines Jahres mehr als eine halbe Million Tonnen Frischobst in die Märkte der Europäischen Union geliefert. Nach Informationen von ‚East-Fruit‘ wurde diese Entwicklung vor allem durch die stark zunehmenden Orangenausfuhren getrieben.
