Berry specialist Driscoll's used the recent Global Berry Congress in Amsterdam to share its vision on the European berry market with some 350 international delegates drawn from across the globe.
With a major focus on the key role played by berry consumers, guest speakers and the audience were challenged to give their views on the future of the market.
This was addressed by Theo Houwen, senior vice-president of Driscoll's EMEA, who spoke about increasing raspberry and blueberry sales in Europe, while Atle Olsen, category manager at Coop Norway, outlined consumer insights from the group's stores.
On the final day of the event, Driscoll's commercial team provided a tour through the Jumbo Food Markt in Breda for delegates.
