Pink Lady has announced a two-year sponsorship deal with local women’s rugby team, the Tonbridge Juddians.
As part of the sponsorship agreement with the apple brand’s master licensor Coregeo, the team has been renamed the Tonbridge Juddians Pink Ladies.
Players have also been kitted out in new pink shirts featuring the Pink Lady logo, which were debuted on Sunday 30 October in a match against Barnes.
The sponsorship deal arose since Andy Macdonald, managing director of Kent-based Coregeo, has been a member of the rugby club for over 40 years and is also vice president.
Michelle Toft, chief marketing officer at Coregeo said: “Supporting our local community is really important to us as a company, and we are really passionate about teaming up with such an inspirational team. For us, this sponsorship is about championing women in all their endeavours, which really underpins the Pink Lady brand values.”
Tonbridge Juddians RFC describes itself as a sociable and friendly rugby club, providing rugby for all ages, shapes and sizes. The club is located in Tonbridge, Kent.
