LEAF's new audit was launched this week at the Royal Air Force Club in London.
Robert Campbell, LEAF's Chairman, explained it had been developed by farmers for farmers to help them manage their businesses and to meet tomorrow's challenges.
Launching the audit, Lord Iveagh, chairman of the Chadacre Agriculture Trust, said: “The new LEAF audit offers practical and realistic solutions on farm. It provides a check and solution situation and full managerial introspection.”
Caroline Drummond, LEAF's chief executive, added: “This new audit is not a quick-fix scenario. It fits into the long journey to sustainability through monitoring, evaluation and attention to detail. It will help farmers convert opportunities into action.”
